Job summary

Onward Search is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician for a temporary role on our client's manufacturing team. The technician will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve CNC lathes and machining centers while supporting facility maintenance across multiple locations.

Typical first-shift hours run 6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role requires 5+ years of industrial maintenance and CNC equipment experience, with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 5+ years maintaining and repairing CNC equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Experience wiring and troubleshooting industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on CNC lathes and machining centers.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Conduct machine tear-downs, rebuilds, and electrical wiring tasks.
• Use schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to identify root causes of equipment problems.
• Coordinate with OEMs and outside vendors to resolve complex equipment issues.

Job description

A temporary position for a CNC Maintenance Technician is available on our client's manufacturing team. The position is scheduled for 1st shift hours, with a schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

CNC Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
