Job summary

Barron Industries in Oxford, MI, is seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician to keep precision equipment running in a mission-critical aerospace/defense manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and allied equipment, diagnose issues, and collaborate with production teams to uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, the ability to read manuals,

Qualifications

Proven CNC maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Experience with robotics and automation systems (preferred).
Knowledge of PLCs and servo systems (preferred).
Familiarity with aerospace/defense manufacturing standards (preferred).

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Support robotics and automated systems.
Minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability in a mission-critical production environment.
Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure quality and safety standards.
