Job summary

Valley Steel Stamp is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician for the second shift (2:00 PM – 12:00 AM) at Greenfield, MA. The role focuses on repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of CNC machines, machining centers, lathes, mills, and related equipment.

Training on first shift is provided to develop CNC skills and equipment familiarity. Ideal candidates have a foundation in mechanical, electrical, or CNC environments and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance or CNC machining preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Willingness to learn CNC maintenance and troubleshooting on the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of CNC machines and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules and manuals.
• Document maintenance work, parts used, and issues for follow-up.
• Learn to read manuals, electrical diagrams, blueprints, and pneumatics/hydraulics diagrams as needed.
• Support machine installations, moves, alignment, and safety procedures.
• Communicate issues and status to maintenance leadership.
