Job summary

Pentair plc seeks a Maintenance Operator for the 2nd shift in North Aurora, IL. You will develop and execute PM schedules, diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC issues, and perform repairs on CNC, injection molding, HVAC, and related equipment.

The role requires CMMS experience, ability to read schematics, and strong problem-solving with a focus on reliability. 40-hour+ work week with overtime as needed and shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive & predictive maintenance.
• CNC repair knowledge is REQUIRED for this role.
• Ability to diagnose and fix CNC mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and control issues.
• Experience with CNC, Injection Molding, Fabrication, Welding, Assembly, Testing, HVAC, and facility systems.
• Experience managing work orders, PMs, and parts inventory (CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery to determine repair methods.
• Perform repairs and fabrications on CNC, injection molding, welding, and HVAC equipment.
• Determine root cause and document improvements.
• Work from prints and schematics including electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders, PMs and part inventory.
