Job summary

Thompson Construction Group, Inc. in Sumter, South Carolina seeks a Lubrication Technician to inspect, lubricate, monitor, and maintain CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.

You will perform PM tasks, maintain lubrication systems, manage fluids and records, and support safety and environmental procedures while contributing to a culture of learning and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of CNC equipment and industrial lubrication systems required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled lubrication services on CNC machining centers, lathes, mills, grinders and supporting equipment.
• Inspect and maintain lubrication, hydraulic, coolant, and way-lube systems.
• Monitor lubricant levels and change oils, filters and fluids per PM schedules.
• Identify leaks, contamination or system failures and report them promptly.
• Maintain maintenance records and order supplies; follow safety procedures.
