Job summary

Walter Tools seeks a Maintenance Engineer for its Greer, SC facility to maximize uptime of CNC grinding machines and auxiliary systems. You will design and implement PM/PdM/RCM strategies, drive reliability improvements, and work closely with production and engineering to reduce downtime.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, experience with CMMS, and strong data analytics using Power BI or Excel to track KPIs and guide decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree and hands-on maintenance experience in precision manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC grinding equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute PM/PdM/RCM strategies for CNC grinding machines and utilities.
• Lead RCA and FMEA analyses to eliminate recurring failures.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to improve OEE and reduce downtime.
