Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation in Liberty, SC is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to set up and run production equipment and computer controlled machines, producing components and finished goods.

This role requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to read blueprints, with strong hand-eye coordination in a fast-paced environment. Join our Production team and contribute to quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of production/manufacturing experience.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Working knowledge of computer controlled machines.
• Knowledge of standard safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe workplace and report unsafe conditions.
• Oil and grease machines to ensure proper operation.
• Adjust operating speed and machine load.
• Perform hourly maintenance checks and document results.
• Monitor operations to meet quality and quantity constraints.
• Manage temperature and material changeovers.
• Inspect and discard defective goods and packaging components.
• Document actions with production logs and quality sheets.
• Keep machines and surrounding area clean per the 5S program.
• Provide samples for the Quality Assurance Department.
• Perform other duties as directed.
• Maintain outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of maintaining different machines.
• Exhibit excellent oral communication skills.
• Show strong hand-eye coordination in a fast-paced environment.
• Prioritize and complete a variety of tasks timely.

Description

The CNC Machine Operator operates and handles production equipment and computer controlled machines from setup to completion to produce components and finished goods.

Location: Liberty, SC

The CNC Machine Operator operates and handles production equipment and computer controlled machines from setup to completion to produce components and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor.
• Responsible for oiling and greasing the machines to ensure proper workability
• Adjusts the operating speed and controls the load of the machines
• Performs hourly checks for machine maintenance and maintains proper documentation
• Monitors machine operations to see that the finished products and components match the quality and quantity constraints of the company
• Responsible for temperature and material change overs
• Examines and discards defective goods and packaging components
• Documents actions by completing production logs and quality check sheets
• Responsible for making sure the machines and the area around the machines are clean and safe per the Company's 5S program
• Provides samples for the Quality Assurance Department
• Performs other duties as directed

Skills:

Work Environment:

• The physical environment requires the employee to work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Required to use personal protective equipment while on the job

Physical Demands:

• Ability to be punctual and attend work on a regular and consistent basis
• The person in this position needs to wear appropriate safety clothing and shoes when needed. This includes a need for safety glasses, gloves etc.
• Ability to perform repetitive rotation and movement of hands and wrists quickly and efficiently
• Must have good dexterity and hand/eye coordination
• Must be able to stand for most of the day which equates to 90% of the time
• Regularly works near moving mechanical parts
• Occasionally will be expected to lift large materials not to exceed 30 pounds

Minimum Requirements:

• 6 + months of production and/or manufacturing experience
