Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in Devens, MA is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to run 3- and 4-axis milling centers and lathes. You will set up tools, read drawings, and perform first article inspections to ensure part quality in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.

The role is shift-based, with a Weekend Day Shift (Fri-Sun & Every other Thu, 6am-6pm). Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and equity options are offered for this position.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with 3 and 4 CNC Milling Centers and multi-axis lathes
• Ability to read Blueprints and interpret GD&T drawings
• Experience with tool setting, offsets, and first article inspection
• Able to work in a team and follow safety policies

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe and/or mill machines to specifications
• Set up and prove out tools, offsets, and fixtures
• Inspect parts during production for dimensional and visual quality
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Train junior team members on machining processes and procedures
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow safety regulations
