Job summary

VulcanForms in Devens, MA seeks an experienced CNC Operator to set up and run 3- and 4-axis milling centers and lathes on FANUC, DMG MORI, and Okuma controls. You read blueprints, verify tolerances, perform first article inspection, and support quality goals in a fast, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and GD&T to verify dimensions.
• Work effectively in a team-based setting with safety in mind.
• Maintain adherence to health and safety policies and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe with work holding, tool kit and offsets; perform first article inspection.
• Operate 3- or 4-axis CNC mill with proper tool offsets and reading drawings.
• Use presetters and tooling where applicable; monitor tooling wear.
• Set up and run machines; inspect parts for dimensional quality during production.
• Mentor junior machinists and troubleshoot issues; keep area clean and safe.
