Harvey Performance Company, LLC is seeking a CNC Machinist for a 3-day weekend shift (Friday–Sunday) in Gorham, ME. You will setup and operate high-volume CNC tooling equipment in a newly built facility, perform piece inspections, and support continuous improvement with manufacturing engineering teams.

The role emphasizes accuracy, downtime reduction, and collaboration across departments to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Machine Tool Technology or relevant industry experience.
• Ability to follow engineering documents such as product drawings, process sheets and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Willingness to be cross-trained and work with all departments to get things done.

Responsibilities

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our CNC Machinists handle both the setup and operation of our state-of-the-art CNC equipment, producing some of the highest-quality cutting tools in the industry. We’re hiring for our 3-day weekend shift — a full-time schedule that runs Friday through Sunday, offering more days off during the week without sacrificing pay.

Our newly built facility is located in Gorham, ME, less than twenty minutes from Portland. The area offers easy access to the outdoors, safe neighborhoods, and excellent schools from K–12 through college.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Create, setup, and maintain operation of a variety of CNC tool and cutter grinders in a high-volume production environment, while working with our state-of-the-art Walters and Rollomatic machines.
• Assist manufacturing engineering in continuous improvement practices.
• Perform first piece and in-process inspection during manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot new product manufacturing processes and methodologies.

The expected pay range for this position is $23.00 to $30.00 per hour. For eligible off-shift schedules, a 20% shift differential applies, increasing the effective hourly range to $27.60 to $36.00. This range reflects what the company reasonably expects to pay for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, and performance.
