Job summary

Orchid MPS Holdings, LLC in Arab, AL is seeking a CNC Machinist for the Weekend Shift to operate multi-axis equipment and produce precision medical component parts. You will handle mills, lathes, and plunge machines, read basic blueprints, and ensure quality and documentation while maintaining safety in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $20.00/hour with an 11% weekend premium and $8/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Or Equivalent (Preferred).
• Experience with measurement tools and blueprints is required.
• Lean Manufacturing experience and medical device manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic machining functions to produce parts.
• Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
• Monitors the machine to ensure proper program performance.
• Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets.
• Makes offsets and adjustments to machines with moderate supervision.
• Advocates for health and safety of self, co-workers, customers, and the community.
