Adecco is seeking a CNC Machinist (Turning) for 2nd shift in Connecticut. Pay ranges from $26.00 to $42.00 per hour, with a 15% shift differential and a $10,000 sign-on bonus based on experience.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of CNC machining experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Experience with 3, 4 & 5-axis Gantry and Horizontal Mills is beneficial.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting operation sheets and tool sheets.

Responsabilités

• Operate 3, 4 and 5 axis milling and/or turning machines.
• Load parts onto fixtures and machine tools, adjust offsets as required by programs.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify tolerances.

What We're Looking For

• 2 - 5 years of CNC machining experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Experience with 3, 4 & 5-axis Gantry and Horizontal Mills

Your Expertise

• Experience in an aerospace or high precision manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience operating CNC multi-axis Milling machine preferred.
• Experience setting up and changing over jobs on CNC equipment.
• Exceptional mechanical ability and strong mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to solve complex issues.

Your Challenge

• Ability to run 3, 4 and 5 axis milling and/or turning machines
• Must be willing to run multiple machines simultaneously where possible/feasible as most machines are part of manufacturing cells/machining centers
• Ability to work with hard metals such as Inconel, Titanium and Stainless Steel
• Ability to read English and interpret symbols on operation sheets
• Must be proficient in mathematics and be able to use a calculator
• Ability to use Fanuc controls and make offsets as required by the program
• Ability to load part onto a fixture
• Ability to load parts and fixtures onto hoists and operate hoist to load part onto machine
• Ability to read and interpret CNC Programs at the machine
• Must be able to read tool sheets and set up tools for use on a job or part
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as gauges, swing gauges, calipers, and micrometers
• Familiarity with operation of Right-Angle Heads
• Must have Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing knowledge
• Must possess the ability to work within tight tolerances such as thousandths

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
