Job summary

Grothouse in Germansville, PA, is seeking a CNC Machinist Trainee for a full-time, day-shift role. No CNC experience required—we will train you and grow your wage as you gain skills.

You will start with material handling and loading, then move to setup, tooling, fixturing, and reading drawings, with progression toward programming. We promote from within and build expertise from the ground up.

Qualifications

• No CNC experience required; training provided.
• Willingness to lift heavy items and perform physical work as described.
• Basic math and measurement; willingness to read drawings.
• Any experience in machining, CNC, woodworking, countertops, or shop equipment is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and run CNC machines cutting solid wood.
• Start with material handling, machine loading, and basic operation.
• Advance to setup, tooling, fixturing, reading drawings, and programming as you grow.
• Wage increases as skills grow and you advance within Grothouse.
