Job summary

SIM Surgical, Inc. is seeking CNC Machinists for Mills and Lathes in Fenton, Missouri. Multiple shifts available, with 4x10-hour day/evening rotations and a 3x12-hour weekend schedule; weekend shifts include pay incentives.

Qualifications

Hello machinists! Are you tired of working in hot, dark, dirty shops on out-dated machines?

Sim Surgical is seeking CNC Machinists in our Mills and Lathes Departments for 1st shift, 2nd shift, and Weekend Shift.

Shifts:
1st: Monday-Thursday - 5 am-3:30 pm (4 x 10-hour DAY shifts)
2nd: Monday-Thursday - 3:15 pm-1:45 am (4 x 10-hour EVE shifts + shift diff)
3rd: Friday-Sunday - 6 am-6:30pm (3 x 12-hour WEEKEND* shifts + shift diff)
*Earn 40 hours pay for 36 hours worked for weekend shift!
*OT pay starts after 36 hours of weekend shift work

Shift differential is offered for the 2nd and weekend shifts. 4 hour bonus is offered on weekend shift.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate various machines, including CNC Swiss Lathes and Mills to finish parts or prepare for next operation.
• Work from blueprints, part prints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
• Use precision tools and instruments.
• Capable of working to tight tolerances.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition; follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prefer 1-3 years’ experience with Set-up and operation ofCNC Machines, but will train.
• Possess strong math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers including decimals and fractions. Simple reference use of formulas, charts, shop prints, specifications and computer scanning devices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other employees.
• Experience with Haas, Okuma, or Tsugami Swiss machines would be beneficial but not required.
