Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating Swiss CNC machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Completion of basic operations or CNC training preferred.
• Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Team-oriented, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain on feet for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor multiple Swiss CNC machines in a production environment.
• Perform routine machine maintenance to maintain consistent performance.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure part quality.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and apply basic GD&T principles.
• Make machine offset adjustments and perform tooling changes as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Overview

Swiss CNC Machinist – Location: Wheeling, IL – Night Shift | 5:30 PM – 5:00 AM | 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday)
