Job summary

You will work with team members to ensure safety and efficiency and use Global Shop for production records. The ideal candidate reads blueprints, uses hand and power tools, and maintains high accuracy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC machinery used in structural steel production, including combination mill/lathe and drill line machines.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine machining and production requirements.
• Operate hand and power tools for machining and assembly work.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain proper performance, dimensions, and accuracy.
• Inspect completed components to verify they meet design and structural specifications.
• Identify equipment problems and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Enter production information and maintain accurate records in Global Shop (ERP system).
• Work with other team members to maintain safe, organized, and efficient shop operations.

Position Overview

We are looking for aCNC Machinist with structural steel fabrication experienceto support production operations. The position involves CNC setup and operation, blueprint interpretation, machining and assembly, quality checks, and basic equipment troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate is comfortable using hand and power tools, pays close attention to measurements and specifications, and can work independently while contributing to a safe and productive shop environment.

• Set up and run CNC machinery used in structural steel production, includingcombination mill/lathe and drill line machines.
• Reviewblueprints, schematics, and work ordersto determine machining and production requirements.
• Operate hand and power tools for machining and assembly work.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain proper performance, dimensions, and accuracy.
