Job summary

Pyrotek, Inc. is hiring a CNC Machinist in Ohio to produce machined parts with precision using FANUC controls. The role requires setting up machines, programming, and maintaining quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in Machining Technology or related field and 3 years of CNC experience, plus proficiency with G-code and measurement tools. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered, with installments through 180 days.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Associate degree in Machining Technology or related field, plus 3 years CNC machining experience; FANUC controls, Haas mill/lathe, and CMM a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read prints and use measuring tools.
• Proficiency with math, geometry and trigonometry to verify programs against specs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production schedules by studying work orders, blueprints and specifications.
• Operate CNC machines using G-code/conversational programming and set up.
• Set up CNC machines by installing tools, offsets and indicating parts.
• Load raw material safely and verify settings by measuring first parts.
• Ensure piece specifications by drilling, grooving, turning and facing; adjust programs as needed.
