Job summary

Pyrotek, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist to program, set up and operate CNC equipment on a Monday–Friday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm shift. The role requires precise measurement, GD&T interpretation and strict quality adherence to manufacturing standards.

Eligible for a $1500 sign-on bonus, with $750 paid at 90 days and $750 at 180 days. Strong blueprint reading and tool-setting skills are essential for successful parts production and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/TASC; 5 years CNC Machinist experience or certificated machining program.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T to parts.
• Knowledge of feeds, speeds, tool offsets, and basic programming concepts.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production schedules by studying orders, blueprints, specs and GD&T.
• Operate CNC machines and input instructions using G-code or conversational programming.
• Set up machines, install tools, offsets, and verify alignment.
• Load raw material safely and measure positions for first runs and samples.
• Maintain quality logs and assist with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
