Qualifications

• Perform complete setup and operation of CNC machining equipment for precision production work.
• Edit CNC programs and verify programs prior to production.
• Produce parts to engineering drawings, tolerances, and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, quality, and setup issues to support productivity and accuracy.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with complete CNC machine setup and operation.
• Experience editing CNC programs is required.
• Strong experience with CNC milling, CNC turning, horizontal milling, and vertical boring mills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and tolerances.
• Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments and metrology practices.
• Ability to select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
• Technical school training or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a team environment.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift, bend, reach, lift, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete CNC machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, workholding, and program verification.
• Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, horizontal mills, vertical boring mills, and related CNC equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, tolerances, and work instructions.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Identify machining, tooling, programming, or quality issues and collaborate with supervisors, engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve them.
• Maintain accurate production records, complete inspection documentation, perform routine machine care, and follow all safety and ISO quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complete CNC machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, workholding, and program verification.
• Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, horizontal mills, vertical boring mills, and related CNC equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, tolerances, and work instructions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Direct hire opportunity.
• Pay range: $25 to $30 per hour.
• Schedule options:
  • Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
  • Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
