This position will be required to support SECOND SHIFT (2:30 PM - 12 AM) operations on a 9x80 schedule (every other Friday off) .

Lockheed Martin Space Production Operations is seeking an
Experimental CNC Machinist to join our team in
King of Prussia, PA!
In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Follow instructions to machine, fabricate, or assemble parts to print and operation sheet specifications using CNC machines
- Interpret CAD data, prints and sketches regarding fabrication and follow written instructions
- Set up and operation of one or more computer numerical controlled machining centers for both horizontal and vertical machines. Performs such operations as drilling, milling, boring, & tapping, etc. on any/all types of work within the scope of the machine
- Verify NC code during execution of setup
- Perform secondary operations during machine cycle such as deburring and straightening
- Inspect parts prior to submission and as they are produced using standard gages, micrometers, indicators, vernier calipers, depth gages, and other measuring devices to ensure conformity to specifications
- Select and install proper cutting tools, zero in the machine to control and make other necessary setup adjustments
- Assist in providing feedback on prescribed processes, fixturing, and tooling to Manufacturing Engineers to ensure that off-line engineering is complete and optimize efficiency before online operations are performed
- Analyze machining results and performance targets with budgeted times and communicate shift targets for jobs to be run in production
- Maintain coolant levels and perform minor preventive maintenance to equipment
- Support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/or alternate shifts to support product schedules as required

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $44,900 - $79,005. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
