Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a hands-on CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our precision manufacturing team in Henderson, NC. You will program, set up, and operate mills and lathes, ensuring parts meet exact specifications.

This role requires strong G‑Code skills, blueprint interpretation, and the ability to read CAD models. Independent work with attention to detail and a focus on quality and continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience.
• 2+ years of CNC programming experience.
• Strong understanding of G-Code programming and GD&T.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Create and modify CNC programs using G-Code and CAM software.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models.
• Select tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds for optimal production.
• Perform first-piece inspections and verify dimensional accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues.
• Maintain quality standards and production documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to improve processes.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
