Custom Metal Designs is hiring a CNC Machinist/ Programmer to operate CNC mills and lathes with MasterCAM, Fusion 360 CAD/CAM, and SolidWorks support. You will program, set up, and optimize tool paths, ensuring parts meet blueprint specifications and ISO/OSHA standards.

The role requires attention to detail, quality control, and the ability to work in a team environment at our Oakland, FL facility. 50 lb lifting capability and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience machining a wide variety of materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tolerances.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Program G-code and CAM software (MasterCAM, Fusion 360, SolidWorks) for CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Set up and adjust fixtures, tools, and workholding.
• Maintain machine calibration, quality checks, and conformance to blueprints.
