Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer for first shift to produce precision parts. The role requires hands-on experience with CNC mills and lathes, reading drawings, and ensuring tight tolerances.

The position offers full-time hours, primarily Monday to Friday with some Saturday work, and up to 56 hours per week. Pay is up to $33/hour, based on experience, with potential temp-to-hire after 90 days.

Qualifications

Experience with CNC programming, setup, and machine operation.
Ability to read and understand machining drawings.
Strong knowledge of G-code programming.

Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes and mills to manufacture parts per shop drawings.
Review machining drawings, dimensions, and specifications before production.
Create and modify CNC programs using G-code.
Work with CNC controls such as Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain.
Set machines and tooling to produce consistent, accurate parts.
Inspect finished work with calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gauges.
Maintain tight dimensional tolerances and monitor machining operations.
Follow safety practices around heavy industrial machinery.
Maintain dependable attendance and professional work ethic.
Work Saturdays when scheduled and lift up to 50 lbs.
