Job summary

Automation IG, LLC in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an experienced CNC machinist and programmer. The ideal candidate will set up, program, and operate CNC machining centers and turning centers, delivering quality parts with efficiency.

Mazak experience is a major plus as the shop uses Mazak mills and lathes. ISO environment with CMM QA is preferred; production runs are small job-shop style, offering competitive pay and good benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machining centers and turning centers.
• Mazak experience is a major plus as the shop uses Mazak mills and lathes.
• Experience in QC/QA in an ISO environment using CMM equipment is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and optimize processes to produce quality parts.
• Maintain quality and productivity in small-lot, job-shop style runs.

Immediate opening for experienced CNC machinist - programmer. This position is for an individual with proven experience in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machining centers and turning centers. The ability to solve problems and produce quality parts efficiently is required. Mazak experience is a major plus as our shop has Mazak mills and lathe. We are a well established Chattanooga, TN OEM that provides factory automation to a wide range of industries. Experience in QC - QA in an ISO environment using CMM equipment is a major plus. This is not a production machining position. Our lot sizes are usually small so job shop experience is desirable. We offer competitive pay and benefits along with good working conditions.
