Job summary

Datrose is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer in South Plainfield, NJ, for 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F, on an Okuma Machining Center. Pay rate: $30-$40/hr. Requires 5+ years of CNC machining experience and strong G-Code programming.

Candidate should be knowledgeable with Fanuc controls; VMC experience is a bonus. This Direct-hire role offers competitive hourly pay and steady day-shift hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Proficient in CNC programming and G-Code.
• Fanuc controls experience and VMC exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Boring, milling, drilling, thread milling, ridged tapping and other operations;
• Loading, saving and adjusting programs;
• Selecting proper tools and tool setting if required. Installing tooling in the magazine changers and indexing and/or replacing inserts;
• Installing fixtures and using set-up sheets;
• Monitors speeds and feeds for most efficient and safe operation.
