Position: CNC Machinist/Programmer

Duration: Full-Time, Contract to Hire

Salary: $30.00/hr

Overview: Qualdoc is seeking a Mid-Level CNC Machinist with expertise in CNC Mill and/or Lathe operations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on experience in programming and machining, with strong skills in Mastercam programming and a commitment to precision. Key Responsibilities:

1. Mastercam Programming: Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam software.
2. Precision Machining: Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to engineering drawings.
3. Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other instruments.
4. Troubleshooting: Collaborate with the team to resolve machining issues efficiently.
5. Safety and Maintenance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of experience in Mastercam and CAM programming.
2. At least 5 years of experience in machine operation with machining or programming.
3. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and understanding GD&T.
4. Strong understanding of CNC operations, including setup, tooling, and programming.
5. Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading and manufacturing processes.
6. Ability to calculate speeds and feeds for CNC machining.

Preferred:

• 5 years of experience in a machine shop environment.
