We are looking for a talented and experienced CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position within our leading-edge manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components for various industries. If you are a passionate machinist with a keen eye for detail and precision, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, including lathes and/or mills, to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans to understand the machining requirements.
• Set up machines at the beginning of the shift to ensure proper working order.
• Perform regular machine maintenance to ensure peak operational performance.
• Monitor machines during operation to detect any problems and make necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair machine problems to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and other staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.
• Provide training and guidance to junior machinists and operators.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience operating and maintaining CNC machines, particularly lathes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and plans.
• CNC program editing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Knowledge of metal properties and machining procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Commitment to adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work for extended periods.
