Job summary

WireCo is seeking a Machinist to produce high-quality wire rope fittings and threaded assemblies, reading blueprints, setting up manual and CNC machines, and ensuring safety and quality conformance. You will operate turning, milling, drilling, threading, measure with micrometers and calipers, troubleshoot issues, and uphold WireCo's standards.

Must have at least 1 year manufacturing experience; CNC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Working knowledge of grinders, lathes, and milling machines.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery and CAM software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong shop math and precise measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Measure, mark, and prepare raw materials for machining and fabrication.
• Set up, program, operate, and maintain manual and CNC equipment.
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, grinding, threading, and other machining operations.
• Produce wire rope fittings and threaded assemblies to spec.
• Inspect finished parts and verify dimensions with precision measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
