Job summary

WireCo WorldGroup is seeking a Machinist to produce high-quality wire rope fittings and threaded assemblies. You will read blueprints, set up manual and CNC equipment, and ensure products meet precise dimensional requirements.

Responsibilities include CNC setup, programming, inspection with precision instruments, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while following all policies and safety rules. This on-site Texas role requires strong machining skills and problem-solving ability.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications for machining requirements.
• Strong shop math and geometry to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery and CAM software used in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Measure, mark, and prepare raw materials for machining and fabrication.
• Set up, program, operate, and maintain manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, grinding, threading, and other machining operations as required.
• Produce wire rope fittings, threaded fabricated assemblies, and maintenance-related components to specified requirements.
• Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining processes for assigned work.
• Monitor machining and production processes, making adjustments or troubleshooting issues.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and product specifications.
• Inspect completed parts and identify non-conforming material or workmanship.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
