Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years as a machinist or equivalent experience.
  • CNC programming knowledge required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T drawings.
  • Advanced measurement skills (micrometers, calipers).
  • Familiarity with feeds and speeds optimization.
  • Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Study blueprints, drawings, manuals and specs to determine dimensions and setup sequence.
  • Set up and operate machines to produce parts per specifications.
  • Select, align and secure fixtures, tools and materials.
  • Adjust speed, feed, coolant flow and cut depth to meet tolerances.
  • Inspect finished work using calipers, micrometers and gauges.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area and follow EHS rules.
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve machining or assembly issues.
