Job summary

Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG) is seeking a Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts. You will read blueprints, select tooling, and program machines to cut, shape, and finish materials such as metal or plastic.

You will monitor performance, inspect parts for conformance, perform routine maintenance, and participate in safety procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus CNC knowledge and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred.
• Knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments and basic mathematical calculations.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and quality focus.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• CNC machine setup, calibration, and operation to cut, shape, and finish materials.
• Read blueprints and select tooling and materials for production.
• Monitor operations and inspect finished parts for conformance to specs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow PPE and safety policies.
