Job summary

ALIGN PRECISION is seeking a skilled machinist to operate CNC milling and turning centers, interpreting complex blueprints and tolerances to produce high-quality components. You will measure parts with calipers and micrometers, document processes in the ERP system, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining efficiency and product quality.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, teamwork, and strict adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

5-6 years of relevant experience.
High school degree or equivalent, plus advanced training.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Understand and obey safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning centers according to complex blueprints and specifications.
Retrieve job related information (job routings, part drawing, tool lists, work-instructions, etc.)
Select and utilize appropriate cutting tools and work holding for various materials and machining processes.
Document manufactured quantities and all required processes utilizing ERP system
Perform precise measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet stringent quality control standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machining efficiency.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
May assist with developing new machining methods and tooling for complex parts.
Other duties assigned.
