Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up mills, lathes, grinders, and other CNC machines using setup sheets and programming notes.
• Run CNC machines to produce parts meeting specifications and production schedules.
• Verify that shop floor documentation matches blueprint revision levels.
• Complete work orders as directed by supervisor or scheduling system.
• Optimize cutter usage to maximize parts per run and minimize scrap.
• Measure parts to ensure compliance with specifications using precision tools.
• Record production data on the shop floor scheduling system.
• Follow all safety requirements and job-specific JSA protocols.
• Maintain 5S standards in the work area.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
