Job summary

Legacy Talent Search is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in Vancouver, WA to set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes, load materials, and monitor quality. You will read blueprints, follow job travelers, and perform in-process inspections with calipers and micrometers to ensure precision.

Qualifications

• 1+ years CNC machine operation experience preferred (entry-level with training considered).
• Ability to read basic blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong math skills and familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality; able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and related equipment to manufacture parts per specs.
• Load/unload materials and ensure proper machine setup for production runs.
• Monitor operations, detect malfunctions, and report issues promptly.
• Read blueprints and follow job travelers; perform in-process inspections.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and document production activity.
