Job summary

Onboard Systems International in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Machinist to operate manual and CNC machines to produce precision parts from drawings and plans. This onsite role offers a daytime schedule and hourly pay between $30.00 and $35.00.

You will read shop drawings, set up vertical milling machines, load parts, measure for accuracy, and assist with assembly of subcomponents while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating manual and CNC machines.
• Proficient with shop measuring tools and equipment.
• Setup and program change experience preferred.
• Collaborative attitude with teamwork mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Detail oriented to meet quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and CNC machines to manufacture products to drawings and planning requirements.
• Assemble subcomponents and components as needed.
• Read and understand shop drawings and planning.
• Setup and operate Vertical Milling machines.
• Load and unload parts to be machined.
• Check and measure parts for dimensional accuracy.
• Perform routine machine support tasks and clean shutdowns.
