Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; up to 3 years related experience or training.
• Proficiency with measuring tools and basic shop math.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills for operator systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and CNC machines.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Select and adjust holding fixtures and cutting tools for milling and turning.
• Set machine speeds, feed rates, coolant flow, and depth of cut.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust controls to maintain quality within tolerances.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve machining issues.
• Handle hazardous waste per safety protocols.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and multiple-machine operations.
