Job summary

Onboard Systems International, located in Vancouver, WA, is seeking a Machinist to operate manual and CNC machines, assemble subcomponents, and adhere to detailed drawings and plans. The role requires attention to quality and safety, with onsite work Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm, and a pay rate of 30.00–35.00 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience operating manual and CNC machines.
• Proficient with shop measuring tools.
• Setup and program change experience preferred.
• Collaborative attitude and teamwork essential.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Detail oriented and precise to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and CNC machines to manufacture products to drawings and planning requirements.
• Manually assemble subcomponents and components as needs arise.
• Read and understand shop drawings and planning.
• Setup and operate Vertical Milling machines.
• Load and unload parts to be machined.
• Check and measure parts for dimensional correctness.
• Perform routine machine support tasks, including coolant management and routine shutdowns.
