Job summary

Ultra-Tech, Inc. is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for 1st shift. The position runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, with overtime on Fridays as needed.

The CNC Machinist will set up and operate CNC machines, maintain quality, safety standards, records, and equipment. Responsibilities include setting up tools, monitoring machine feed/speed, measuring parts with precision instruments, and documenting actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years machining experience with advanced knowledge of machining operations and tolerances.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering plans, procedure manuals and work instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be motivated to take on new roles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools and specialized tools to perform precision machining operations.
• Monitor feed and speed of machines during machining.
• Measure and test completed units to ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments.
• Document actions by completing required paperwork (inspection documents, travelers).
• Possess own tools and be willing to multitask and cross-train on all machines.
