Job summary

FOX Factory, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate mills and lathes, load and inspect parts, and ensure quality. You will read blueprints, perform basic math, and aim for minimal scrap while meeting production standards.

Qualifications

• HS graduate or equivalent required.
• 1+ years machining experience; trade school or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure parts accurately.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and inspects parts being machined while maintaining published PPH.
• Operates a minimum of one lathe or mill along with performing secondary operations.
• Maintains accurate part counts, fills out Box Tags, and Job/Quantity Tracker.
• Reports and asks supervisor/lead for assistance with any machining problems.
• Follows documented operator procedures such as inspection check sheets and posted operator notes.
• Maintains a clean work area and observes all safety procedures.
• Can execute machine offsets and insert changes with direction of supervisor or lead-person.
• Produces parts with less than 1.5% scrap rate on a consistent basis.
• Operates a minimum of 2 machines simultaneously.
• Deburr, clean, and package finished parts as required.
• Other duties as needed.
