Job summary

Pride Mobility Products machine shop is seeking an experienced machinist to program and operate CNC centers, water jet, press brakes, and related equipment to produce metal parts to tight tolerances.

You will read drawings, use micrometers and calipers, perform set-ups, and inspect parts for defects. A safety-sensitive role requiring strong math, reliability, and cross-training across shop functions.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask, solve problems, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Work within tolerance as specified by drawings, prints or verbal instructions.
• Measure with micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
• Read and interpret work instructions and prints.
• Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, grinders, presses and drills.
• Cross train for multiple jobs within the work area.
• Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Program and safely operate CNC Machining Centers, Water Jet, Press Brake, Tube Bending and other machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure adherence to blueprints.
• Review drawings and instructions to ensure accurate production.
• Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
• Assemble and weld prototypes to blueprint specifications.
