Job summary

Pride Mobility Products Corporation in Duryea, PA is seeking a skilled machinist/welder to fabricate and assemble parts for R&D and production. You will program and operate CNC equipment, including waterjet and press brakes, while maintaining strict tolerances and quality standards.

This safety-sensitive role requires experience with MIG/TIG welding, reading prints, and using precision measuring tools; on-site work with opportunities for cross-training across the machine shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school training related to machining and/or welding.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and blueprints.
• Must pass AWS MIG/TIG welding tests for carbon steel and aluminum.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and maintain tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently fabricate and modify parts to print specification.
• Jig and weld parts to print specifications.
• Properly assemble and weld components to blueprint specifications.
• Program and operate CNC machinery including CNC Waterjet and Press Brake.
• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC Waterjet.
• Design and develop tooling to support in-house part manufacturing processes.
• Operate milling machines, lathes, grinders, press brakes, shears, and drill presses.
• Cross-train in other functions of the Machine Shop.
