Job summary

ACME Marine Group in Walker, MI seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate multiple CNC mills, lathes, and broaches in a production environment.

You will inspect parts and fixtures, work from CAD prints, and help maintain 5S standards while contributing to safety, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor.

The role is full-time, on-site, with a four-day, ten-hour work week pattern and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience operating CNC mills, lathes and broaches.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and broaches in a production environment.
• Perform first piece, in-process and final inspections using calipers and gauges to ensure parts meet specs.
• Design, build or repair fixtures, tools and gauges from CAD prints and specifications.
