DeKalb Health in Marine City, MI is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate 2- and 3-axis CNC lathes and mills. You will read blueprints, measure parts, and maintain tight tolerances while following SOPs and safety policies.

The role requires 4+ years in manual, semi-automatic, and CNC machining, with 3+ years in CNC; high-volume experience preferred. This is a full-time, non-exempt position offering PTO, company-paid insurance, a 401(k) plan, and access to LinkedIn Learning.

Formación

• Requires at least 4 years of experience operating a mix of manual, semi-automatic, and CNC machine tools in a fast-paced work environment.
• At least 3 years of CNC machining experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in high volume – low mix production.
• Experience in using common measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height/depth/bore gauges).
• Experience in reading & interpreting complex drawings & blueprints in both imperial and metric standards.
• Proficiency in GD&T and calculating dimensions and tolerances.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools to perform precision machining with tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints in imperial and metric standards.
• Use measuring gauges to inspect parts and ensure drawing tolerances.
• Follow SOPs and quality policies to meet production goals and lead times.
• Provide feedback to reduce setup times and improve efficiency.
• Maintain and clean machines; work with supervision and QA to prevent problems.
