Responsibilities

• Able to cut away material from a solid block to form a finished part.
• Apply knowledge of material properties with CNC programming to meet precise specifications.
• Require knowledge of computers, CNC, and basics of programming and CAM.
• Analyze drawings to determine dimensions, tooling, and speeds based on specs.
• Perform set ups in a timely manner and set up tooling and machine paths.
• Read micrometers and calipers and verify machine instructions against programs.
• Maintain housekeeping and complete quality paperwork accurately.
