Job summary

Cloeren Aerospace in Orange, TX is hiring a CNC Machinist to manufacture flight-critical components on a modern, climate-controlled shop floor.

With 2+ years in CNC machining and setup, you will read blueprints, operate multi-axis machines (3-, 4-, 5-, and 9-axis), and ensure tight tolerances while contributing to a quality-driven culture. Monday–Friday shifts available, up to $90k/year with full benefits.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Set up and operate lathes, vertical milling machines, drills, and other CNC equipment.
• Fabricate parts from metal, plastics, and composites.
• Properly secure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces on machines.
• Maintain quality and safety standards on all tasks.
• Track parts and jobs in ERP system.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Use gauge and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Use precision tools, machinery, and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, push and pull broaches and a variety of cutting tools and equipment.
• Fabricates and shapes parts such as tools and machine parts out of metal, plastics, and composites.
• Properly and safely selects , aligns , secures , and removes holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
• Recognizes, deploys, and properly uses inserts, fixtures, and tooling.
• Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Ability to track parts and jobs in ERP system.
• Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
• Operate the overhead cranes and forklift effectively and safely.
• Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
