The Opportunity

We are seeking a CNC Machinist for our night shift. Responsibilities include setting up and operating manual and CNC lathes & grinders, ensuring machines are properly maintained and equipped.

Responsibilities

1. Set up and operate CNC and manual machines such as lathes, drills, and grinders.
2. Secure workpieces and ensure proper machine operation.
3. Test parts according to engineering standards.
4. Perform inspections and maintain accurate documentation.
5. Communicate shift changes effectively.
6. Perform routine machine maintenance.
7. Follow safety and quality procedures, maintaining a clean work area.
8. Ensure continuous material flow.
9. Adapt to new requests and add value to the team.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. 2-3 years of experience with CNC lathes or grinders.
3. Knowledge of GD&T; experience with Siemens CNC controls and aerospace materials is a plus.
4. Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
5. Teamwork and multitasking skills.
6. Availability for night shift, 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday.
7. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform related tasks.
8. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
