Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components.

This is an afternoon shift position.

Schedule: 4PM-2:30AM, M-F and half day on Saturdays.

Responsibilities
  1. Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.
  2. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production of parts.
  3. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  4. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
  5. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machinery setup and operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
