Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense, and general aviation sectors. Position Description

The CNC Machinist performs detailed machine setups, CNC programming, machine process improvement, troubleshooting, and produces machined parts. The position is for NIGHT shift – Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts; includes a 20% shift differential.

Essential Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis lathes with live milling
• Use precision measuring tools to check and inspect to close tolerance requirements
• Document SPC and inspection results precisely
• Modify tooling and fixtures as needed
• Advise supervisor and programming team of technical advancements to increase production
• Operate machines to produce production runs of parts
• Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System
• Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisor
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff
• Other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in CNC machine operation
• CNC Swiss lathe setup experience is a plus
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T
• Experience with changing tools, performing offsets, and quality checks on parts
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle complexity
• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Interest in learning from engineering and programming teams to improve operations
