Job summary

WEISS North America, Inc. in Willoughby, OH is seeking a CNC Machinist (Full-Time) to join our precision manufacturing team. The role requires 3+ years of CNC setup and operation experience and a strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to read blueprints.

You will machine aluminum and steel components using Fanuc controls on multi-axis equipment. Candidates should demonstrate excellent math, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• ,Minimum of 3–5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Proficient with Fanuc CNC controls.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• CAD/CAM software experience a plus (Esprit used by WEISS).
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with a sense of urgency.
• Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Well organized with an eye for detail and precision machining.
• Proficient PC skills in Windows environment.
• Independence with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to stand/walk most of day.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings to determine dimensional criteria, tolerances, geometric dimensioning.
• Perform set-ups for CNC operation.
• CNC machining of parts on large multi-axis CNC horizontal bridge mill.
• Identify the necessary tooling and equipment to perform the operation.
• Maintain tooling for the machine as needed.
• Prep dial plates prior to finish operations as needed.
• Operate a tow motor and overhead crane as needed.
• Provide strong customer support on a need basis.
• Assist in maintaining the highest quality of WEISS products.
• Perform other duties as directed.
