Qualifications

• Three or more years of CNC machining experience or completion of a relevant technical program.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills, or multi-axis machining equipment.
• Working knowledge of G-code and M-code.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, technical specifications, and CAD models.
• Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machining and equipment issues.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with Engineering and Production teams.
• Experience supporting lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, multi-axis machines, EDM, and waterjet systems.
• Program CNC machines using CAM software and G-code/M-code.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and specifications to produce precision components.
• Develop prototypes and first-run parts with Engineering for manufacturability.
• Select tooling, fixtures, speeds, feeds, and sequences per material/part.
